Criticial Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze Intelsat’s SEO strategy in comparison to competitors and industry best practices
    • Develop keyword strategy by product category and application
    • Develop Google analytics reports templates (to be run monthly) to review web performance
  • Develop email templates for outbound communications (ExactTarget / Pardot platform)
  • Develop event templates for customer events (CVENT platform)
  • Blog writing in support of Intelsat’s 50th Anniversary

  • Ability to analyze web data, implement changes and measure real-world results


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Eligible candidates must be:
    • Part-time or full-time students who have completed 48+ credit hours (rising juniors/seniors) and are enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university
    • Part-time or full-time students enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited college or university
    • May 2014 graduates
  • Must be able to commit to a 40 hour/week schedule for 12 weeks
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, professionalism and maturity in the workplace is required
  • Effective communicator in both written and spoken English is required
  • Good oral and written communication, and presentation skills is required
  • Proficiency in use of Excel, Visio, Power Point applications and MSOffice Suite is required
  • 3.0 GPA or above preferred.


Perferred Qualifications:

  • Html, CSS, Java experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Dreamweaver and Photoshop desired.
  • Experience working with CRM systems a plus.


Intelsat's Intern Program Description:

  • Intelsat’s summer internship program runs for 12 weeks starting on Tuesday, 27 May, 2014 through Friday, 15 August 2014.
  • We expect interns to work 40 hours/week, Monday- Friday from 8:30AM-5:15PM
  • All interns are paid $16/hour
