Preference will be given to candidates with a track record that demonstrates high level of leather technical competency, as well as successful instructional design, project management, and implementation. A global leather perspective, international cultural awareness, and knowledge of international business issues will be valued.
Skill sets should include selling expertise, preferably in area of specialty chemicals. Knowledge of the leather making process and field application of specialty chemicals is highly desirable. Good commercial and negotiating skills; a team player; with strong leadership, communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal and presentation skills. Culturally sensitivity and being able to deal with customers from a wide cultural and national background at all levels is a must.
Minimum of 5 years Leather industry related experience and/or training
Experience in traditional adult (instructor-led) training will be an asset.
Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc) from four-year College or university or equivalent work experience Area/Major/Discipline: Leather or related Sciences – chemistry, biochemistry, engineering, etc. Training and/or certification in instructional design or training a plus
