In accordance to the Buckman way, your contribution to the success of Buckman Labs can be summarized as follows:
In collaboration with technical specialists and sales associates, this position will identify applications where the deployment of SMARt systems will be valued by our customers, and also support our new technologies. After an opportunity has been identified, the position will identify the relevant transducers or sensors, and integrate them into a conceptual system design that includes the pipework, electrical, controllers, and dosage equipment. After ratification of the robustness of the system design, the position will deliver a prototype system that will be evaluated and tested in the laboratory and will be expected to take the prototype to the field for final proof of concept and implementation. An ability to work with IT, Corporate Safety and other stakeholders to ensure that our equipment aligns to corporate standards at all times is required.
Serving Buckman by collaborating with technical specialist and sales associates to identify applications where the deployment of ‘Smart’ systems will be valued by our customers and support our new technologies. Once opportunities arise, the position will identify relevant sensors, and instrumentation and integrate them into a conceptual system design. This design would not necessarily be confined to sensor and instrumentation identification and integration, but could also include pipework, electrical, controls and dosage equipment. After ratifying system design robustness, this position will deliver prototype systems that will be evaluated and tested in the laboratory and subsequently taken to the field for final proof of concept and implementation. An ability to work with IT, Corporate Safety and other stakeholders to ensure systems and equipment align with corporate standards is required. This position will work with relevant other positions within Buckman, or outside vendors to develop the first prototypes. Identifying and evaluating sensors that could be used in “SMARt” products comprises a large part of this position..
